(pant, pant,
pant)
Hobbes plays fetch with his human boy Luke
Brings the stick back with an eager look
Trots beside Kaliber down the street
No leash needed for those little feet (pitter-patter)
He's the cat that thinks he is a dog
Charging through the grass and leaping every log
Standing on his paws with a funny little bark
He thinks he is a dog,
though he's smaller than a shoe (woof!)
He wrestles on the rug with Luke and big Kaliber
A fierce little heavyweight of royal caliber
Patrolling round the drive when strangers draw near
A tiny raspy growl to strike them with fear (grrrr!)
He hunts down mice and squirrels in the yard
A rabbit or two keeps the hound on his guard Forget about
catnip, forget about a purr He's a golden retriever in calico fur
(ruff ruff!)
He's the cat that thinks he is a dog
Charging through the grass and leaping every log
Standing on his paws with a funny little bark
He thinks he is a dog,
though he's smaller than a shoe Yeah he runs the pack and
he knows just what to do!
Barely bigger than a running shoe (hahaha)
Good boy Hobbes
(meow? ... woof!)
