Engine Off Electric On

Are you listening?

It is

time to make the switch.

Burning fossil fuels is just a step behind

We've got the clean technology to leave the past behind

Grid capacity is rising every single day So why are we still

living in the yesterday? (why?)

Stop the drilling, stop the sound

Turn the engine right around (are you ready?)

No,

it isn't okay to buy anything

With an engine in this day and age EVs have been ready

to go mainstream Ever since twenty-seventeen

(go

mainstream!)

Batteries are safer, longer range on every charge We can power up

the cities and the heavy freight at large Charging stations mapping out

across the highway line

There is no excuse for lagging in the design

(no excuse!)

Instant torque,

silent drive

This is how the future will survive

No more carbon, no more smoke

It's time to break the dirty yoke

Stop the drilling, stop the sound

Turn the engine

right around (here we go!)

No, it isn't okay to buy anything

With an engine in this day and age

EVs have been ready to go mainstream

Ever since twenty-seventeen (twenty-seventeen!)

Ever since twenty-seventeen. It's time.
