(hummmmm) Deep in the Bounty,
green and wide, Two hunters walked with watchful stride.
Ryujin and Solas, proud and wise,
Went seeking prey seen by no eyes.
They spoke of one that ruled the green,
The fiercest beast the wild had seen.
A cat before, a serpent's tail,
A shadow moving down the trail.
They followed signs through root and vine,
Through dripping leaves and twisted pine.
No scanner traced its hidden track,
No drone could tell them where it passed.
Then through the trees,
beneath the shade, They found the ruins men had made.
A station swallowed by the green,
A dead machine where life had been.
The walls still held an ancient tale,
Of men whose grand design had failed.
They came to change the world and land,
But left their poison where they had planned.
The labs were still,
the lights were gone,
The forest took the halls upon.
And in that place,
through time and rain,
Their broken work had shaped a bane.
The trail runs deep beneath the green,
We hunt the beast we have not seen.
Through root and rain,
through dark and day,
We follow every sign and trace.
The hunt goes on,
the hunt goes far,
Beneath the moon and distant star.
We crossed the wild,
we crossed the Way,
And sought the beast that ruled the prey.
They learned the beast could sense the wire,
Could wake the dark with waves of fire.
It healed its wounds,
it moved like rain,
And walked through danger without pain.
It hated still the ruined ground,
The dead machines, the walls around.
So there they chose to make their stand,
And draw the beast toward iron land.
They laid their snares beside the gate,
They marked the paths and chose their fate.
Ryujin shaped the trees with care,
While Solas wired the open square.
They thought their trap would end the chase,
They thought they'd soon behold its face.
But deep beneath the leaves that swayed,
Two glowing eyes had watched their raid.
The trail runs deep beneath the green,
We hunt the beast we have not seen.
The traps are laid,
the guns are bright,
The hunters wait to claim the night.
Yet something stirs beyond the flame,
Something old without a name.
The trees grow still,
the shadows sway... And now the beast has found its prey.
The traps were set...
The hunters slept...
And deep beneath the forest boughs,
The jungle queen began her vows.
