my prayer this morning Teach me to walk in your
truth (amen)
Woke up early with the sun in my face Counting every blessing
and relying on grace Got the heavy steps marching on the pavement
stones Never walk alone 'cause you're deep in my bones
Clear all the clutter when the road gets steep
Promises you made are the promises I keep
Guide my feet, guide my hands
Help me stand firm in your plans
(lead the way now)
Lord Jesus,
help me
to do your will!
Each and every day,
standing on the hill!
Give me the courage,
give me the spark
Walking in your light right through the dark! (yeah!)
Every single sunrise is another clean slate
Leaving all the worry right outside of the gate
Hand on the plow,
never looking behind
Only your love occupying my mind
Feet stay grounded while the spirit flies high
Looking up toward the open sky
Take my hands, direct my speech
