Don't Flux Around with Us!

The whole world’s gone crazy,

stuck in a state of flux,

Everybody’s questioning just who the heck they are.

But here in Clinton,

Arkansas, we're country to the core.

Just good ol' gals,

and good ol' boys.

Brought up with

the good ol Lord.

I guess you can say.

We already know the score.

So we don’t fluctuate here!

Don’t come fluxing around us.

We know where we came from,

we know who we are.

We get down on our knees,

talk to the good Lord every day

ay a. So don't come fluxing around here.

With your devil talk today.

The cows don’t flux,

the chickens don’t flux,

the mule just pulls the load,

They ain’t sittin’ around wonderin’ which way their feelings go.

We got fields to tend,

chores up the wazoo.

And more common sense.

Than you

ever knew.

So we don’t fluctuate here!

Don’t come fluxing around us.

We grew up around animals,

that have more common sense than you.

The whole world's gone crazy.

Questioning who they are.

So don't come fluxing around here.

With your devil talk.

You can keep your theories,

kindly stick ’em where the sun don’t shine,

We’ll keep our Bibles,

our lemonade, and we will be just fine.

In a world that's gone crazy.

And going right down the tubes.

We’ll be fine in Clinton Arkansas.

Where the good Lord still knows you.

Don’t come fluxing around here…

we don’t flux around.

The good Lord’s still listenin’,

and our feet are on the ground.

We know who we are,

and we know the difference between right and wrong

— Ain’t nobody fluxing around here.

I thank the good Lord every day For my country ways.
