Hallelujah Rising

(ooh-ooh) (yeah) I was walking

in the shadows of the valley floor

Looking for a spark but couldn't find an open door

Then a single note

of promise started ringing clear

And the heavy clouds began to disappear

It's a rise,

it's a spark, it's a brand new day

(brand new

day) Every burden in the dust is swept away

Hallelujah,

let the music take us high (hallelujah)

Sing it louder,

write our names across the sky (write our names) From the darkness

we are stepping into light

Hallelujah,

everything is bright

Now we're standing

on the summit where the wind is sweet

Every rhythm

shaking down into our very feet

No more looking back at what we left behind

Just a golden road we were meant to find

It's a rise,

it's a spark, it's a brand new day

(brand new day) Every burden in the dust is swept away

Hallelujah,

let the music take us high (hallelujah)

Sing it louder,

write our names across the sky

(write our names) From the darkness we are stepping into light Hallelujah,

everything is bright

Everything is bright

(hallelujah) Oh, we're stepping into the light (hallelujah)
