Law Of God (Psalm 19)

The vast Heavens speak,

Glory of God on High now,

Skies show His own Hands.

Days pour out a tale,

Nights show deep and quiet truth,

Wisdom starts to wake.

No

words pass the

lips,

No sound rings across the

air,

Silence tells it all.

Voices reach the

earth,

Words go to the final ends,

Sun in shades of blue.

Like a groom in joy,

Strong champion runs the track,

Bright sun starts to race.

From one end it climbs,

Making its long, sweeping turn,

Warmth hits every place.

Law of God is true,

Refreshing the weary soul,

Simple minds made wise.

Precepts are

so right, Bringing joy to every heart,

Light fills up the eyes.

Pure fear of the Lord,

Standing firm forevermore,

All decrees are just.

More than finest gold,

Sweeter than the honeycomb,

Truth is rich and sweet.

Servants heed the word,

Warning keeps us on the path,

Great reward is near.

Who knows every fault?

Pardon what is hidden deep,

Wash my secret sins.

Keep me from proud sin,

Let it not rule over me,

I stay clean and safe.

Words of my own mouth,

Thoughts within my quiet heart,

Please my Rock and Lord.
