Sanctuary Current

(hmmmm-mm) Wash it all away

Step in the stream where the mercy runs deep

Promises kept that the righteous will keep

Fire on my left,

living water on the right

Carried through the valley to the breakthrough light

Koto strings pluck through the heavy bass slide

Grace in the trenches,

nowhere left to hide

From the dry ground,

waters start to rise

See the glory open up before our eyes

(glory!) Let the tide break through!

This is the river of life flowing free

Pouring through the soul,

washing over me (wash over me) Stand firm in the flood,

unbroken and bold

More precious than diamonds and fire-refined gold

We don't fear the storm when the foundation stands

Carried on the current by almighty hands

Strings on the wire make the enemy flee

Waves crashing down like the parting of the sea

Every chain shattered when the stream rushes in

This is where the new life and victory begin

Cleanse the heart, restore the soul

Make the broken spirit whole

(hallelujah) Let the living fountain overflow!

This is the river of life flowing free

Pouring through the soul,

washing over me (wash

over me) Stand firm in the flood,

unbroken and bold

More precious than diamonds and fire-refined gold

Living water...

(flowing on)

Wash it clean.
