jelly-filled

stage! Another day of life on the microscopic

page!

I'm the gatekeeper, standing so proud and so tall Deciding who gets

to slip past this great wall!

Come in, little oxygen,

out with the waste!

Lysosome, catch this, and do it with haste!

Silence, organelles! For the boss has arrived!

Without my directions, we would not have survived!

I hold all the blueprints,

the master plan key!

And I build the proteins you order from me!

I'll ship them along!

And I'll pack them up tight!

Wait! Did somebody say power?

I'm the powerhouse of the cell!

Making ATP every single hour!

Without my spark, you're an empty shell!

(yeah!) We sweep up the trash,

we digest all the grime!

And I store the water and waste all the time!

We're the cleanup crew,

and we do it with style! (haha)

Wait! The membrane is leaking!

The power is low!

My ribosom-engine has run out of go!

The ER is backed up,

the Golgi is lost!

This cellular crisis is paying the cost!

Stop!

Listen to me! We are one single body,
