Do you ever
look back and wonder
How we made it
this far?
All those nights we thought
we’d never see tomorrow,
And somehow… here we are.
(yeah) Yeah, I remember every low,
every night I felt alone,
Every time I had to smile when I was
breaking on my own.
But you were there when I couldn’t see the light,
Said, “Hold
on,
you’re gonna be alright.” And I meant it… Even when I didn’t
know
how.
Look at us now.
Yeah… look at us now.
I’ve had days where I questioned everything,
Wondered if the pain was ever gonna leave,
Bills on the table,
pressure on my chest,
Trying to give my family more than my best.
Friends disappeared when the road got rough,
Funny how the silence tells you who’s enough,
I learned that life ain’t always gonna go your way,
But losing yesterday don’t mean you lose today.
I’ve cried in rooms that nobody knew,
Said “I’m okay” when it wasn’t true,
Had dreams in my head that I nearly threw away,
But something inside kept saying,
“Stay.” Now I look at all the scars on my skin,
Every single one reminds me I survived it,
I ain’t got everything that I wanted back then,
But I got another morning — so I’m trying again.
I know that feeling,
When your heart gets heavy and you can’t explain,
When everybody sees your smile
But nobody sees the rain.
But you don’t have to carry it alone,
You don’t have to fight every battle on your own,
If you fall, I’ll be right there,
If you lose hope,
I’ll meet you there.
Maybe we’re not where we thought we’d be… Maybe life took a
different road for me…
But every tear became a memory…
And every scar became a part of me…
So if tomorrow isn’t perfect,
We’ll still wake up and try,
’Cause sometimes making it through the darkness Is the reason we
appreciate the light.
We’re still here,
we’re still breathing, Still got a reason to believe in something,
After all the nights we cried,
Look at us — we’re still alive.
We’ve been lost,
we’ve been broken, Had a thousand words left unspoken,
But we made it through the fear,
And after everything… WE’RE STILL HERE.
Oh-oh, we’re still here… Yeah,
after everything… Oh-oh, we’re still here.
And maybe life ain’t always beautiful,
But there’s beauty in the fact we didn’t let it go,
So raise your hands,
let the whole world hear—
WE’RE STILL HERE.
I remember being young with a head full of dreams,
Thinking life would be exactly what it seemed,
Then reality came knocking at the door,
And I learned what the word “struggle” really stood for.
People change, situations do too,
Sometimes you lose people you thought you’d never lose,
Had to learn that letting go ain’t giving up,
Sometimes walking away
is how you grow up.
I’ve seen love turn cold,
I’ve seen good hearts fold,
I’ve seen people hide pain just to look bold,
But everybody’s fighting something you can’t see,
Everybody’s trying to become who they’re meant to be.
So I don’t judge anybody by the chapter they’re in,
You never know how hard somebody’s trying to begin,
And if you’re listening right now with a weight on your soul,
I hope you know you’re not walking this road alone.
I know you’ve been hurting,
I know you’ve been tired,
I know there were moments
You wanted to retire from life.
But look at your heart,
It’s still beating somehow,
You made it through yesterday,
You’re making it through now.
And maybe that’s enough,
Maybe that’s the victory,
Not having every answer,
Just believing there could be.
Yeah…
Maybe we don’t need to know
Where the road is taking us.
Maybe we just need to keep walking.
If tomorrow brings another
storm…
I’ll remember
what we’ve already overcome.
If the whole
world tells you you’re
