Wake up, sunrise, alarm raising hell,

I don't need a miracle...

Just coffee will do

well.

Six in the morning,

I'm losing the fight,

Hair going left when it should be going right.

Can't find my keys,

got two different shoes,

Monday showed up with some serious news.

I stumble to the kitchen,

barely alive, Hit that little button and wait for the vibe.

Then I hear that beautiful brewing sound,

Pour me a cup and turn this day around.

One little sip, and the lights come on,

Two little sips, and the zombie is gone.

Three little sips, now I'm feeling myself,

Life happens...

It won't solve everything,

let's be fair, But suddenly I almost don't care.

One little sip, now I'm making a plan,

Two little sips, I'm a functioning man.

Three little sips, let me handle myself,

Cold brew when the Texas heat gets nasty.

Morning, noon, maybe half past three,

There's always room for another cup with me.
