Feelings

I release this day

into the hands of God.

What I cannot carry,

Jesus can.

I do not need to solve tomorrow tonight.

God is already present in what comes next.

I release every conversation I continue to replay.

I release every mistake I cannot change.

I receive the mercy of Jesus Christ.

I forgive those who wounded me.

I ask forgiveness for those I have wounded.

I release resentment.

I release fear.

I release the need

to control what belongs to God.

My worth is not measured by my productivity.

I am a beloved child of God.

I am allowed to rest.

Rest is not abandonment of responsibility.

Rest prepares me to serve again.

The Lord remains with me

while I sleep.

His mercy is greater than my failures.

His grace

is sufficient for tomorrow.

Let the worry wash away.

Let the anger wash away.

Let the disappointment wash away.

Let the fear wash away.

Let the noise wash away.

Let the mistakes of today

wash away.

Let the words you wish you could change

wash away.

Let the burdens that do not belong to you

wash away.

Let the need to understand everything wash away.

Let it go.

Give it to God.

Rest. You are held.

You are loved.

You are not alone.

Jesus is near.

I surrender my family to His care.

I surrender my work to His care.

I surrender my future to His care.

I surrender what I understand.

I surrender what I do not understand.

Jesus, I trust in You.

Jesus, remain with me.

make my heart like Yours.

Sacred Heart of Jesus,

I place my trust in You.
