Snow In San Antonio

I woke up this morning

to a world I didn’t know

There was white along the porch

and a blanket on the road

I stood there by the window

thinking,

“Well, I’ll be…”

Never thought I’d see this sight

in San Antonio

You came walking down the hallway

Wrapped up in an old blue robe

You looked outside and started laughing Like the whole town had lost

its mind with snow

There’s snow in San Antonio Falling soft outside our door

And I’ve never seen December Look so beautiful before

I don’t know how long it’ll stay But I don’t really care

We put on our old coats And walked out into the street

There were children throwing snowballs

And laughing underneath their feet

A pickup rolled by slowly

With a Christmas tree tied down

And somebody was playing music

As the snow came falling down

Maybe tomorrow

it’ll all be gone

Maybe the sun will come back strong

But some moments don’t need forever

To stay with you when they’re gone

We came back inside around midnight

With cold hands and rosy cheeks

You poured us something warm to drink And kissed me on the

cheek

I looked outside the window

At the quiet street below

And thought about how lucky I was To be right here when

it snowed

There’s snow in San Antonio

Falling soft outside our door

And I’ve never seen December Look so

beautiful before

I don’t know how long it’ll stay

But I’ll remember this tonight

There’s snow in San Antonio And you’re standing by my side

Tomorrow it may disappear

how it looked Snow in San Antonio… And
