The Wonders Of Your Grace (Psalm 17)

(mmm-mmm) Hear my cry, O righteous Lord,

Listen to my honest plea.

No deceit is in my word,

Set my rightful judgment free.

Probe my heart within the

night,

Test the thoughts you search and see.

You will find my path is right,

No transgressions come from me.

From the violent and their pride,

By Your word I walk apart.

In Your holy paths

I hide,

Keeping true with steadfast heart.

I will call because You hear,

Show the wonders of Your grace.

Save me when the foe is near,

Hide me in Your dwelling place.

Keep me safe and close to You,

As the apple of Your eye.

Shield me from the cruel and untrue,

While the wicked circle nigh.

Like a lion in the dark,

They surround me for the kill.

Hard of heart and fierce and stark,

Waiting to

enact their will.

Rise, O Lord, and cast them down,

Rescue me by Your right hand.

Save me from this worldly town,

Far from all their greedy

land.

I will waken with Your grace,

Satiated by Your sight.

I will look upon Your face,

Vindicated in Your light.
