Something's wrong with the system

Something they can't explain

They call it a problem

I call it an anomaly

Black sky, cold eyes,

walking through the static,

Mind wired different, every thought automatic,

They keep trying to define me,

put a name on the pattern,

But the second that they map me,

I become something they haven't.

Outcast, outlier, glitch in the design,

Every box that they built couldn't hold this mind,

They were looking for a weakness,

I was hiding the sign,

Now the thing they couldn't measure is the reason I shine.

I don't fit the equation,

I'm a flaw in the frame,

Every rule that they gave me only fueled the flame,

They keep asking who I am like I owe them a name,

I'm the answer they can't solve,

I'm the question they hate.

I hear the static in the walls,

Feel the pressure when it crawls,

They want normal, they want safe,

But I was never built that way.

ANOMALY — I'm the glitch they can't delete,

Something lurking in the dark that they never could defeat,

ANOMALY — every shadow follows me,

They can search for an explanation,

but they'll never see.

ANOMALY — I don't move like they expect,

Every step I take is something they can't intercept,

ANOMALY — written nowhere in the code,

I'm the error in the system that became impossible to control.

Cold room, dim lights,

everybody watching, I can feel every whisper,

every second, every option,

They don't understand the silence,

think the quiet means I'm stopping,

But I'm building something underneath while the whole world keeps talking.

I don't need their approval,

don't need their design,

Don't need somebody else's definition of mine,

If the road disappears,

I'll be drawing the line,

If they close every door,

I'll be changing the sign.

There's a shadow in the mirror that I barely recognize,

Not a monster, just a version that survived every night,

All the pressure made a diamond,

all the doubt made it bright,

Now I'm staring at the darkness like it owes me the light.

They said, “Something's wrong.” Maybe something is.

But if being different means I don't belong— Then watch what I

become from it.

System overload, Warning signs glow,

Everybody says,

“Don't go where you don't know.” But

I know. I know.

I was never meant

To follow.
