After The Fall

I thought the end would feel like nothing

Like a door that disappeared

But standing here among the pieces

I can finally see it clear

Every road I tried to follow

Every name I tried to wear

Every version of myself

That brought me somewhere here

I carried all of it

The damage and the doubt But maybe falling wasn’t failure

Maybe it was finding out

After the fall

After everything

I finally understand What it means to breathe

I don’t need the past To tell me who I am

I can take what’s left And build it with my hands

I didn’t lose myself… I finally found me.
