Safe within your arms,

God, my shelter and my shield,

I take my true

rest.

You

are my true Lord,

Far from your abounding grace,

No good thing remains.

Saints within the land,

Noble hearts of grace and truth,

My supreme delight.

Fools chase other gods,

Sorrow grows within their hands,

I will name them not.

Lord, my cup and lot,

You

alone are my portion,

Held secure by you.

Boundaries fall in grace,

Pleasant places all around,

Rich and fair reward.

Praise the Lord on high,

Counsel guides my waking steps,

Night instructs my heart.

Eyes fixed on the

Lord,

At my right hand he remains,

I shall not be moved.

Glad heart in my breast,

Joyful tongue lifts up my song,

Body rests secure.

Death holds not my soul,

Faithful one escapes the grave,

Free from deep decay.

Path of endless life,

Joy fills up your holy courts,

Pleasures at your hand.
