Bell Rings Free

Bell ring, I already know what's up

Recess time, yeah, we bout to turn it up (yah!)

Sitting in class, looking at the clock,

Waiting for recess, man,

I can't stop.

Teacher keep talking, I'm ready to go,

Bell rings loud—I'm out the door!

Grab my jacket, walking down the hall,

Everybody moving when they hear that call.

Step outside, sunshine on my face,

Recess time, yeah, I'm taking my place.

I'm going to recess,

yeah, I'm on my way,

Been waiting all morning for this part of the day.

Run around, laugh, do whatever I please,

Recess hit different when you're finally free!

Finally free!

Walking to the playground with my friends beside me,

Talking 'bout the day,

everybody hypey. Five minutes in and I'm already gone,

Running around till the recess bell comes on.

Then I hear that bell—man,

time went fast,

Back to the classroom,

gotta make it last.

Walking back in but I'm thinking already,

Tomorrow at recess, I'm coming back ready!

Classroom to the playground,

that's my routine,

Recess is the best part of the whole school scene.

Bell rings again, yeah,

you know where I'll be—

Walking out that door like FINALLY,

I'M FREE!
