Changing My Hue

I wake up late,

the sun is shining bright

The other tribes are gearing up to fight

But in the trees,

we're blending with the leaves

No one expects a thing from what they see

I change my scales to match a boring grey

Just another ordinary jungle day

They call us lazy,

say we only sleep While MudWings fight and SeaWings dive too deep

I try to show them what my venom does

But no one cares,

there is no sudden buzz

I'm just a dragon in a hidden home

Left in the canopy to fly alone

And nobody wants to believe in the bright scales They think we

belong in the silly old fairy tales "Go eat a melon,

the map
