There’s a road beneath my feet
I’ve never walked before.
No map, no signs,
No promise waiting at the door.
I’ve got nothing left to prove,
Nothing left to hide.
The ghosts that followed me for years Are finally falling behind.
I could turn around… I could disappear…
But I’ve come too far
To let fear choose where I go from here.
So I’ll run into the fire,
I’ll run into the unknown.
If the future wants to break me,
I’ll face it on my own.
I’ve spent too long surviving,
Now I’m learning how to live.
If there’s nothing on the other side… I’ll build something from it.
I’ll run into the fire.
I used to measure every step
By everything I’d lost.
Now I measure every mile
By everything it cost.
The past can keep its memories,
The scars can have their names.
I don’t need to become someone else To prove that I have
changed.
I hear the thunder…
I feel the ground… The road ahead is calling
And there is no turning around.
So I’ll run into the fire,
I’ll run into the unknown.
If the future wants to break me,
I’ll face it on my own.
I’ve spent too long surviving,
Now I’m learning how to live.
If there’s nothing on the other side… I’ll build something from it.
I’ll run into the fire.
What if the horizon
isn’t somewhere I arrive?
What if it’s every step
I take while I’m alive?
Maybe I don’t need to know what’s waiting there.
Maybe courage… Is moving forward without knowing.
One more step. One more breath.
One more reason
not to look back.
The road is burning.
The sky is changing.
And I’m still standing.
I’m still standing.
I’LL RUN INTO THE FIRE!
I’LL RUN INTO THE UNKNOWN!
IF THE FUTURE WANTS TO BREAK ME—
I’LL FACE IT ON MY OWN!
I’VE SPENT TOO LONG SURVIVING!
NOW I’M LEARNING HOW TO LIVE!
IF THERE’S NOTHING ON THE OTHER SIDE— I’LL BUILD SOMETHING FROM IT!
I’LL RUN INTO THE FIRE!
I’LL RUN INTO THE FIRE!
I don’t know where this road ends… And for once… I’m not
afraid to find out.
