I opened my eyes

On a bedroom floor

Plastic little hands

Reaching for the door

I didn’t know my name

I didn’t know the sky

I only knew one thing… I was alive

Two little feet on a bedroom floor

I took one step,

then I took one more Round yellow face in a mirror of

glass

I saw someone

staring back

Rows of little studs beneath my feet

Red and blue bricks in the walls around me I touched my

chest and felt something strange

A tiny little heart that shouldn’t beat Was I built for this?

Was I built to run?

If I’m only plastic Why can I feel the sun?

I’m aliiiiive…

Piece by piece, I came alive

I’m aliiiiive…

For the first time,

I can decide

You built my body

But you didn’t build my mind You gave me pieces But I

found a life inside I’m aliiiiive… And I don’t wanna be put

away

I walked through a city

of red, green, blue

Every little figure looked

brand new

Some had fallen, some had lost their way

Some were waiting for someone to play

Then I saw her standing by the wall One small figure,

barely three feet tall She looked at me and smiled somehow Like

she knew what I was feeling now She reached out her hand

And I reached for hers Two little figures Trying to understand the

world Maybe we’re mistakes Maybe we’re design Maybe being broken Is what

makes us alive

Then the room went dark And the floor began to shake

Heavy footsteps getting closer

Something coming through the doorway

A giant hand came reaching down

Searching through the little town

I knew what happened When the pieces came apart

So I took her hand

And we ran through the dark
