The mountains split wide open as the continents collapse,
Cities disappear beneath the waves as the burning skyline cracks,
Black storms tear across the heavens,
swallowing the sun, The oceans rise like monsters as the final age
has come,
Steel towers twist and shatter while the earth beneath them breaks,
The moon turns red above the ruins as the entire world shakes! (argh!)
Then the heavens split asunder and the stars begin to fall,
Thunder rolls across the wasteland like a death knell through it all,
The rivers boil with fire beneath a sky of endless black,
While the ruins of the ancient world are swallowed in the cracks,
The horizon burns forever as the oceans claim the land,
Mountains crumble into deserts beneath the planet’s trembling hand,
No dawn remains to follow,
no light survives the night,
Only ashes, smoke, and thunder where the cities once burned bright,
The final towers disappear beneath the roaring sea,
The last echoes fade to silence— and the world ceases to be.
