Covered By Grace

From the cross to the grave,

Jesus paid the price,

Now we’re never alone.

I was lost in the dark,

couldn’t find my way,

Carrying my shame like a debt I couldn’t pay,

Then I heard about a Savior who stepped in my place,

Took the weight of my sin and gave me His grace.

Not by works, not by gold,

not by what I’ve done,

I was rescued by the blood of God’s only Son,

He stretched out His hands,

took the nails for me,

Now the chains are broken—I’ve been set free!

There is power in the blood,

There is mercy in the blood,

Jesus gave His life for us,

Now we’re covered by His blood.

Every sinner, every soul,

Every heart He can make whole,

From the cross His love still calls— Jesus’ blood can save us

all!

Redemption flowing from Calvary’s hill,

Love so strong that it conquered the grave’s chill,

Three days later, stone rolled away,

Death lost its power on resurrection day.

So I’m lifting up the name that is higher than all,

When the enemy whispers,

I remember the call: “No condemnation”—that’s the promise I claim,

I’m washed, I’m forgiven in Jesus’ name!

Oh, the blood, the precious blood,

Jesus paid it all for us.

Grace poured out, the price was paid,

Through His sacrifice, we’re not afraid.

(hallelujah) There is power in the blood,

There is mercy in the blood,

Jesus gave His life for us,

Now we’re covered by His blood.

Every nation, every tongue,

Hear the gospel, sing as one:

Death is beaten, victory’s won— Jesus

saves us through the blood!
