Every day I wake up

I know I've got more work to do

Not to earn Your love

But because I love You

I'm trying to be better than I was yesterday

Trying to walk with You in every choice I make I know

I'm gonna stumble, I know I'm gonna fall But I won't let

my failures keep me from Your call I don't wanna live my

life Just chasing what I want I wanna seek Your kingdom In

everything I've got Before I make a move I wanna seek Your

face Before I trust my feelings I wanna trust Your grace

So I get down on my knees

And I give You every part

Every fear, every failure Every burden on my heart

I'm living my life in prayer Putting everything in Your hands

When I don't know where I'm going I trust You have a

plan I'm striving to be better Not perfect,

just faithful Every day I want to grow And become more like

You When the world pulls me away I fall back on my

knees Lord, change what's inside of me Make me who You want

me to be

I used to make decisions

Without asking where You stood

Thinking I knew what was best When You already knew what would

Now I'm learning to be patient

Learning when to let things go

Learning that Your timing

Is better than what I know I pray before the battle

I pray after the fight I pray when things are going wrong

I pray when they're going right Because prayer ain't just a lifeline

That I grab when I'm afraid It's a relationship with You Every

single day I wanna talk to You in silence

I wanna hear You through Your Word

I wanna let Your truth correct me

Even when it hurts

Search my heart Show me what needs changing Break my pride When

I start thinking I can make it

Give me wisdom

Give me courage Give me strength when I am weak

Keep my eyes upon Your purpose

Keep Your Word inside of me

I don't wanna just say I'm Yours

I wanna live like I am

I don't wanna only hear Your Word I wanna put it into

action Every day is another chance

To become who I'm supposed to be

Not because I'm good enough

But because You keep working in me

If I fall, I'll get back up

If I fail, I'll learn and grow

If I lose my way

I'll come back to You I'm not chasing perfection I'm chasing after

Christ Trying to reflect Your love In every part of my life

Let my words show Your kindness

Let my actions show Your grace

Let my life become a testimony

To the mercy I have tasted
