In my secret place… I find You there.

I've got my secret place,

Where I go when I need

You most. A quiet place to find my strength,

A place where I can feel You close.

There I connect with the divine,

There I speak with my Creator.

When I don't have the words to say,

You understand me even better.

When the world gets heavy,

And I don't know where to turn,

I close my eyes and call Your name,

And somehow I find my way.

I've got my secret place,

Where I can talk to You.

I've got my secret place,

Where I know Your love is true.

When days are dark and friends are few,

I know I'm not alone.

I've got my God,

And in His arms I have a home.

There are times when I feel broken,

There are nights when I feel low.

But I know I have a Father

Who will never let me go.

When the tears begin to fall,

And my heart can't take no more,

You comfort me, You hold me close,

Like You have done before.

When everybody walks away,

You're still standing by my side.

When I lose my strength to carry on,

You give me wings to fly.

I don't need to understand

Everything I'm going through.

I just need to know,

my God, That I can always run to You.
