(hmmm...) (hahaha!) I read a book,
they called it a sin Because a woman's mind is where the
devils begin I solved a sum,
I cured a cold Now they say my soul's been sold (oh
please!)
Burn the witch, she knows her math She dared to laugh,
she crossed the path!
But my only spell is common sense In a world of utter
incompetence!
They brought a scale to weigh my wit
Against a goose, to see if I fit
I made a joke,
the judge turned red
Now they want to take my head (typical!)
Oh,
society fears what it can't confine So they build a fire for
this mind of mine A tragic end for a clever head They'd
rather see me quiet and dead
But my laughter will ring
in the historic breeze (hahahaha!) Long after you burn me at the
knees!
