Hands of Light

I was walking through the darkness,

With a heart that lost its way,

Then I felt a quiet whisper,

Saying, “You will see the day.”

Every scar became a lesson,

Every tear became a prayer,

When I thought that I was empty,

I discovered You were there.

And when the world gets cold,

When I’m afraid to fall,

I hear a voice inside my soul,

Reminding me through it all.

There is light in Your hands,

There is love in Your heart,

Even when the night surrounds me,

You will never let me fall.

If the whole world turns away,
