Come on... listen to the word.
(yeah, yeah)
The angel shows John a pure river of water of life,
Clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and the Lamb,
beyond strife.
In the midst of the street of it,
on either side of the river bright,
The tree of life bears twelve kinds of fruits,
yielding each month
its delight.
(Ooooh, water of life flowing freely!) No more curse shall be,
in God's city timeless and perpetual.
(Yeah, timeless and perpetual!) His servants serve Him,
beholding His face, a new life begins.
His name upon their foreheads written,
they bear, No night,
no lamp, no sun,
for the Lord God gives light beyond compare.
They shall reign forever and ever,
in His glory bright,
The promise of eternal life and divine right.
“Behold, I come quickly,” the words faithful and true as relayed,
Blessed is he that keeps the sayings of this prophecy’s shade.
John, who heard and saw these things,
fell down to worship in awe,
But the angel said,
“Worship God,” fulfilling divine law.
(Oh, drink of the water,
come drink!) No more curse shall be,
in God's city timeless and perpetual.
(Yeah,
He is coming soon!) His servants serve Him,
beholding His face, a new life
begins.
The Spirit and the bride say,
“Come.”
Let him that hears say,
“Come.”
Amen. Even so, come,
Lord Jesus.
