Yeah, yeah
(aw yeah)
A sign in heaven reveals seven angels clothed in radiant white,
With the last plagues in hand,
to finish wrathful might.
Before the sea of glass mingled with fire,
those who’ve triumphed sing,
They sing the song of Moses and the Lamb,
praises to the King.
“Great and marvellous are Thy works,
O Lord God Almighty,” they proclaim,
“Just and true are Thy ways,
Thou King of saints," glorifying His holy name.
“Who shall fear Thee,
O Lord,
and glorify Thy name alone?
For all nations shall come to worship; Thy righteous acts will be
shown.”
After this, the sanctuary of the tabernacle of testimony opens wide,
Seven angels emerge, clothed in pure white linen,
gold around, side to side.
Each with a bowl of golden wrath,
vials from the living God to impart,
Given by one of the four beasts,
a continuation of justice to start.
The temple fills with smoke from God’s glory,
a presence none can invade; Until the seven plagues are completed,
His judgments are made.
(ohhh yeah)
Almighty God, in the midst of the imagery of worship and judgment,
let our hearts be drawn to reverence Your holy name.
Help us to recognize Your just and true ways,
instilling in us awe
and humility.
Amen.
