Four angels stand at earth’s corners,
holding winds in obey,
To prevent wind from harming the earth,
sea, and sky's array.
Another angel with the seal of God’s living might,
Cries to the four angels,
to preserve the sealed in His sight.
(sealed in His sight) One hundred and forty-four thousand,
from Israel’s tribes, are sealed,
Twelve thousand from each tribe,
God’s protection is revealed.
These are marked as His servants,
secure in His grace,
Belonging to the Lamb,
His name on their face.
(on their face)
A multitude beyond number,
from nations, tribes, and lands,
Stand before the throne and the Lamb,
with palms in their hands.
Clothed in robes of white,
signaling purity and peace,
They cry with loud voices,
their praise shall never cease: (never cease)
“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne,” And to
the Lamb, His praises are known.
Angels, elders, and creatures join the praise in divine groove,
“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,” in eternal move.
(eternal move)
Never more will they hunger,
nor thirst in life’s race,
He’ll lead them to living fountains of waters.
Gracious Lord, thank You for Your promise of protection.
Amen.
