Midnight at the Lake,
fog on the ground Following footprints without a sound A mystery called
me out here tonight
Someone missing that didn't sit right
The clues were few,
the trail was cold
A disappearance, tales tall told Of a nine-foot woman
in these woods Where prey go seeking her better goods
Cabin in the clearing,
candle in the window
Shadows moving slow
I crept up close,
I had to know
Peer through the glass and— There she was,
my mystery solved Nine feet of mama,
problem resolved Not a crime,
just a different kind Of closeness two people can find Tummy round
with someone squirming
Happy, warm, and gradually firming
Case closed, but my mouth went dry 'Cause I wanted to be
the next to try
She saw me watching,
caught my eye
Waved me in, didn't ask why The window was open,
the invitation clear
I climbed right in,
no trace of fear
The tall lady stood,
her shadow long
Her belly sang a gurgling song “Detective," she said,
"you've caught your mark Now stay tonight in my dark..."
No need for cuffs,
no need for bars
Her stomach's better than visiting the stars The case is closed,
the file is shut
I'm next for her big ol’ tummy donut...
There she was, my mystery solved
Nine feet of mama,
problem resolved Not a crime,
just a different kind
Of closeness two people can find
Tummy round with someone squirming Happy,
warm, and gradually firming Case closed,
and now I'm climbing in
Long enough after the one who was within...
Mystery solved... ...in the dark...
...of her hunger... …her deep embrace...
…case closed…
