Sammi bought a cage with a plastic wheel Danny bought the food,

made a real big deal But the little golden fella had his

own design

Running all night on a crazy incline He's pocket-sized,

hiding sunflower seeds Doing high-speed sprints for his daily needs (haha)

Hamster on the loose,

hamster on the run Sammi and Danny,

look what you've done He's spinning that wheel like a superstar Chewing

through the couch, escaping too far (woah!)

Danny checked the hallway,

Sammi checked the floor He was behind the blender,

planning out some more With his cheeks stuffed wide like two balloons

Humming little rodent-style battle tunes They tried a piece of cheese,

they tried a tiny carrot He just looked at them like a

wild pirate

(squeak squeak)

safe and sound Danny closed the latch,
