Yeah,
old school kings of the breakbeat (uh-huh)
To do what is right and just preferred,
More than sacrifice, says the Word.
Haughty eyes and a proud heart's fire,
The unploughed field of wickedness,
desire.
The king's heart's a river in the Lord’s hand,
He turns it wherever His plans command.
Every way of man seems right in his own gaze,
But the Lord weighs hearts in all His ways.
The plans of the diligent lead to gain,
But those who haste,
only poverty attain. Treasures gained by lying tongue,
Will vanish like vapours,
quickly flung.
Violence of the wicked will snatch them away,
For they refuse justice's way.
The way of the guilty winds with despair,
But the pure move straight,
clear air.
To do what is right
and just preferred,
More than sacrifice, says the Word.
Haughty eyes and a proud heart's fire,
The unploughed field of wickedness,
desire. (oh yeah, more than sacrifice) Better is living on a lone
rooftop’s stone, Than with quarrelsome wife,
troubled home's tone. The wicked crave evil night and day,
Find no mercy even if they pray.
Whoever shuts ears to the cries of the poor,
Will call, but find no open door.
No wisdom or insight will stand when,
Waging war against the Lord’s plan.
Dear Lord Jesus, we humbly seek Your wisdom and lead in our
lives.
Help us to pursue righteousness,
justice, and love. Repent from paths of pride,
choosing peace. May Your righteousness reign,
yeah.
