A man's own folly wrecks his way,

Yet his heart rages against the Lord,

they say. Wealth draws many friends to your door,

But the poor man loses even more.

All poor man’s kin hate when he’s in strife,

How much more do friends flee from his life?

Keep understanding, walk in the light,

And you’ll find your path in the night.
