Wisdom’s Street Anthem

(unnnnh) Yeah! Listen up, my child,

receive my word, Treasure wisdom,

let your voice be heard.

Incline your ear, seek knowledge's way,

Cry out for insight,

night and day. Search for it like silver,

pure and fair, Hidden treasures,

wisdom's care.

You'll understand

the fear of the Lord,

Find God's knowledge, your reward.

The Lord gives wisdom,

the wise do gain,

Knowledge and understanding, like a gentle rain.

For the upright, He’s their shield and guard,

Preservation for those who hold Him hard.

Then righteousness and judgment you'll know,

Every good path, let's follow in tow.

Wisdom enters your heart,

a friend so true,

Knowledge brings joy, in all you do.

Discretion will keep you far from strife,

Understanding will guard your life.

To deliver you from the crooked folks,

From deceitful paths, folly's jokes.

For wisdom will guide the steady walk,

Safe in paths where the righteous talk.

The wicked cut off from the earth they'll be,

While the godly abide in safety,

free.

Lord God, just as back in the Torah Book Leviticus pointed towards

Your perfect holiness, give us the wisdom and revelation here so we

understand in Proverbs that You laid the foundation for holiness,

pointing us forward to the ultimate sacrifice,

Christ Jesus.

We come seeking forgiveness,

knowing Jesus paid our debt.

Accept our lives as vessels for Your glory,

saved by grace through the blood of the Lamb.

In His name we turn from sin

and walk in Your light.
