Kings’ Rise and Fury

"Listen close now... Chapter Eleven!"

Also in the first year of Darius the Mede,

I stood and supported him in his misdeed.

Three kings will arise,

then one mighty and bold,

He'll rule with great power,

secrets to unfold. Soon after,

a fourth will come with much gain,

His riches and strength will leave the world in pain.

He’ll stir up all Greece,

like a storm in the sea,

The mighty will tumble,

but faith will be free.

From the north there’ll rise,

a king set in place,

His power will grow,

moving with passion and grace.

Against the south, he makes a fierce play,

The kings clash like titans,

but trust me, pray.

Yet the tidings that come will cause hearts to quake,

The faithful will stand firm,

for Jesus’ sake! Through trials and hardships,

their faith turns to gold,

In the midst of the chaos,

the story is told!

The

king of the South will fight strong in the fray,

But the North holds its ground,

come what may. He'll wage war with fury,

rise up once again,

Through treachery, strategy—he’ll gather more men.

The daughter of the South,

to seal a pact,

Will marry the North,

but plans won’t be intact.

She’ll break from her father,

and corruption ensue, In the story of power,

corruption is new. Then wars will be waged over cities and lands,

Mighty armies march, hold tight to your stands.

At the end, the king with the flair of deceit,

Will rule with great arrogance,

risen to meet.

He’ll oppose the Holy One,

the sanctuary fall, But those who stand firm,

God heeds every call.

He’ll strengthen his heart,

and they will become bold,

Time will soon arrive when the truth comes alive,

In the midst of the chaos,

the faithful will thrive!

Heavenly Father, in the chaos and tumult of this world,

I seek Your peace.

I come to You recognizing my need for salvation through Jesus Christ,

who triumphed in my place.

Just as Daniel reported visions of nations rising and falling,

I look to the eternal kingdom of Christ,

where hope resides. Forgive me for my sins and guide me in

Your truth. May I remain steadfast in faith

as I trust in Your promises.

my Saviour.
