Divine Battle Rhythms

In the third year of Cyrus,

king of Persia's reign,

Daniel had a vision,

and he felt deep pain.

The message was true,

but the time was long,

He mourned for three weeks,

his heart felt wrong.

He fasted with pulse,

and he cried out in prayer,

No meat, no delights; he was seeking somewhere.

On the twenty-fourth day,

by the Tigris he stood,

A vision appeared, shining brighter than good.

A man clothed in linen,

with a waist like pure gold,

His body was like topaz; his face,

radiant and bold. His eyes like a flame,

his arms and legs,

bright bronze, When he spoke,

it was like a mighty throng’s songs.

The voice of his words shook all who were near,

I fell on my face,

filled with awe and fear.

“I’m here to deliver you knowledge,

my friend, ‘Cause the moment you prayed,

your answer would send.”

He showed me the vision,

a war in the air,

Kings and kingdoms clashing,

a spiritual affair. The end is in sight,

and God’s will stands tall,

Trust in the Lord; He’ll carry us all.

trust in Him now) But the prince of Persia fought me,

oh, what a fight,

Twenty-one days held me,

holding me tight. But Michael,

the chief prince, came with might,

And brought me to you,

bringing you light.

“I’ve come to explain what the vision means,

What’s to come in the future,

calling out unseen. For I must return to battle,

oh, there’s more to do,

But know you are loved; God’s hand is with you.” As he

spoke these words, I trembled and shook,

Then he touched my lips; understanding I took.

“Fear not, Daniel, rise,

the words are so true,

You’re greatly beloved; see it’s all for you!”

Heavenly

Father, I come before You,

recognizing my need for salvation.

I acknowledge Jesus Christ as my Saviour.

Fill me with Your Spirit,

bring understanding and hope.

Thank You for Your grace and love.
