  • Horn of the Fierce King

    Horn of the Fierce King

    pure HI

    Yeah

    Check it

    Turn it up

In the third year of Belshazzar’s reign,

Another vision, yeah, it hit my brain.

    I was in Susa,

    by the river Ulai,

Saw a ram with two horns—oh,

    my, oh my!

    The horns were high,

    one grew last, Pushing west,

    north, and south, so fast.

    No one could stand

against this beast, He did what he pleased,

    power unleashed.

Just then a male goat came from the west,

    Flying like the wind,

    above all the rest.

    A horn between his eyes,

mighty and bold, He ran at the ram,

    fierce and uncontrolled.

    Struck the ram down,

    broke both its horns,

There was no rescue; power he scorns.

    The goat was exalted,

greatness in view, But when he was strong,

    that horn broke too.

    Out sprang four horns,

towards the sky, From one little horn,

    a power to pry.

It grew great to the glorious land’s hold,

Casting down truth, bold and cold.

Against the prince, the burnt offering ceased,

The sanctuary trampled—oh, what a beast!

A question arose, from the holy crowd,

    “How long till the cleansing?

    Make it loud!”

    Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You in humility,

confessing my need for Your mercy.

    Just as Daniel faced visions,

I seek the revelation of Your Son,

Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.

I invite Jesus into my life

to guide me in truth and light.

    In His name, I pray,

    Amen.
