My Divine Path

(hummmm) My path began

before I knew its name.

Long before I understood

why certain things came.

I walked through many roles,

I wore them like a coat.

But somewhere deep inside me

another voice

still spoke.

Step by step, year by year,

the guidance became clear.

This is my Divine path,

the road that brought me here.

Through love and learning,

through wonder and fear.

Books and songs, stories and signs,

all became teachers at the right time.

This is my Divine path,

and I keep walking on.

Until the day I travel back to where I come from.

I was guided into stories,

anime, fantasy, and fables.

Into worlds where hidden wisdom waited underneath the tales.

Music came to walk beside me,

spiritual in many ways.

Different sounds and different voices helped illuminate my days.

Books arrived when I needed them,

some gave strength when life was hard.

Some reflected

what I'd learned and showed how far I'd come.

And some taught another lesson: this is not the road for you.

Even knowing what to leave behind can guide us toward what is

true.

This is my Divine path,

the road that brought me here.

Through love and learning,

through wonder and fear.

Books and songs, stories and signs,

all became teachers at the right time.

This is my Divine path,

and I keep walking on.

Until the day I travel back to where I come from.

Games became another doorway,

some with wisdom deep inside.

Some supported me in other ways as I continued on my ride.

For almost thirty years I have tried to walk in guidance,

learning how to grow in spirit,

learning how to live with love.

But the path began much earlier,

from the moment I was born.

Sixty-six years of becoming,

and the journey still goes on.

Even when I lived behind the roles I thought were me,

the path was quietly waiting,

the path was setting me free.

One by one the roles were falling.

One by one I learned to see.

What was always underneath them was the deeper part of me.

And one day beside the berry bushes,

chanting Vishnu's sacred name,

a song waiting weeks inside me finally rose and became clear.

Through every changing season,

the guidance still is near.

Books and songs, stories and signs,

animals, Earth, and sky,

all become teachers when I listen deep inside.

This is my Divine path.

I keep walking while I grow.

Until the day I journey home,

there is always more to know.

The path was always there.

Before I knew.

Before I saw.

And now I walk it with open eyes.
