Endless Halls

(unhh...) Yellow walls that never end

Fluorescent light, my only friend

No way out, no doors in sight

Lost inside this endless night (where am I?)

I hear a sound behind the drywall

Is someone there or is it my mind? (shhh...)

Locked inside these empty spaces

No more familiar faces

Just the hum of the light

And the shadow in flight

(help me...) Carpet wet beneath my feet

Running from

the static heat

Every corner looks the same

I've forgotten my own name

(no... no...)
