Frozen Lightbound

The ice beneath my feet is glowing white,

I skate alone beneath the Arctic night.

The world is quiet,

cold, and wide, Yet something stirs beyond the tide.

A shimmer rises through the frozen air,

A distant warmth I’ve never felt out there.

It calls to me,

soft but bright, A voice of stars saying,

“Come to the light.”

I feel it pulling at my chest,

A gentle promise of what’s next.

A truth I’ve longed for silently,

A path that’s opening for me.
