The Last Call Nightmare

Things went sideways late last night

Adam started drinking out of sight We kept it clean,

we felt okay But we didn't know how much he threw away

Then the room

started to spin for him

And the kitchen lights got dim

He ended up sick

on the bathroom floor

We held him up,

watching the door

Scared half to death,

didn't know what to do

Just waiting for the night to be through Now I'm never having

folks around when I'm home alone

We feel so foolish,

staring at the phone

We were scared spitless,

hoping he'd survive

Now he's with his parents,

glad he's still alive
