  • Steadfast in the Storm

    Steadfast in the Storm

    Seth Pace (Picklz)|1

    Job had the blessings,

    the house, and the name,

    A life built strong,

but it changed in a day.

    Lost what he owned,

    lost the ones he loved,

Wounded and weary, still looked above.

He cried out loud; he didn’t hide the pain,

But when the whole world said,

    “Walk away,” Through every question,

through every scar, He held to the truth of who God is.

Yet will I trust in Him,

When the night comes rushing in.

Yet will I trust in Him,

When I don’t know where to begin.

I may bend, but I won’t break; My Redeemer makes a way.

    Yet will I trust,

    yet will I trust,

Yet will I trust in Him.

    Three friends showed up,

    but they missed the mark,

Threw quick explanations into the dark.

“Your pain must mean you did something wrong”— But Job knew their

    answer couldn’t stand strong.

They talked like they knew what God had planned,

But Job kept faith with his feet in the sand.

When comfort turned into blame and fear,

He chose honest faith and kept God near.

Yet will I trust in Him,

When the night comes rushing in.

Yet will I trust in Him,

When I don’t know where to begin.

I may bend, but I won’t break; My Redeemer makes a way.

    Yet will I trust,

    yet will I trust,

Yet will I trust in Him.

    At his lowest point,

    with his hope worn thin,

Job found a fire that still burned within: “I know that my

Redeemer lives”— That’s more than a phrase; that’s the strength He gives.

    Through death and darkness,

    through loss and pain,

    Christ brings redemption, restores again.

The grave is not the final end; In the flesh,

Job knew he’d see God again.

Then God spoke from the whirlwind sky: “Who set the stars in

place so high? Who shaped the seas and taught them their course?

Who gives the wild horse strength and force?” Job saw the picture

was bigger than he knew; The God who made the world was

seeing him through. I may not know every reason or plan,

But I know the One who holds it all in His hands.

Yet will I trust in Him,

When the night comes rushing in.

Yet will I trust in Him,

He is faithful to the end.

I may bend, but I won’t break; My Redeemer makes a way.

    Yet will I trust,

    yet will I trust,

Yet will I trust in Him.

    I know my Redeemer lives!

Yet will I trust in Him!

When I can’t see the road ahead,

I’ll trust the God who sees instead.
