Joyful Noise Outdoors

(hey, ho, here we go) We hauled the speakers out to Miller's

hill

We plugged the wires in with time to kill

But the generator sputtered then it died Pastor smiled and said 'At

least we tried!'

There was static on the microphone

Now we're standing in the grass alone

But we got strings and we got wood And the weather's actually

looking good (mostly!)

When the speakers quit,

we kept on singing

When the rain came down,

we kept on grinning Jesus gave us voices,

gave us hands

So we’ll make a joyful noise wherever we stand!

(sing it out!) Then a gust of wind sent the chord sheets

flying

A yellow lab stole deacon's turkey on rye

Suddenly the clouds let the downpour loose

We scrambled underneath the tin-roof spruce
