When we write our letters,

here is what we do

We look at "d" and "b",

and make them clear for you

Lowercase d has a tummy behind!

(that's right!) Lowercase b has a tummy in front!

(yep!) Draw a straight stick and a little round curve

Now you can write them without any worry!

Let's trace a "d" with a belly in the back

Start with the circle,

then a tall straight track

Now trace a "b" with the belly facing right

Start with the stick,

then the curve so bright (you got it!)

Now you can write them without any worry!

If you get confused,

just make two little fists

Put your thumbs up high,

and look at your wrists

Left makes a d,

right makes a b
