Hello, New Friend

When you see a furry friend walking down the street There is

a special, friendly way that we should greet Don't run up fast

or make a sudden sound

Just take a breath and keep your feet on the ground

Ask the owner first,

can I say hello?

We can be best buddies in a little while

Standing like a tree,

quiet and so still

Showing them you're friendly is a happy skill Wait until they wag
