One Eye Open

I’m still outside, Phone on DND,

I ain’t tryna reply.

Too much on my mind,

got the city on fire,

She said, “Where you at?”

I said, “Somewhere outside.”

After midnight,

riding through the city,

She keep calling my phone,

but she know I ain’t with it.

Money on my mind,

I ain’t worried ’bout feelings,

Everybody switched up, now they saying they different.

After midnight, headlights shining,

I been moving too fast,

got the whole night flying.

She said that she love me,

I don’t know if she lying,

So I keep one eye open while the moon keep shining.

yeah!) I been riding with the windows down,

music loud, Phone blowing up,

I ain’t picking up now.

She know I’m complicated,

still she coming around,

Said she wanna know me,

I don’t wanna be found.

I got too much going on,

New city, new hotel,

new number, new face.

She keep asking where I’m headed,

I just tell her,

“Away,” She said, “You don’t ever stay,” I said,

I don’t wanna hear about the mistakes that I made.

She said, “Pick me,” I said,

“Girl, I can’t decide,” Then I grabbed my keys and disappeared into

the night. (Gone!)

riding through the night… Trying to clear my mind… If you really
