Beneath the gold, beneath the skin

A darker light was drawing in

I called it ruin,

called it shame But still it whispered through my name DESCEND

I entered what I feared to see The ash beneath identity

Black sun within Burn through the shape I lived within No light

is whole that fears the night I lose the form and keep

the fire

The vessel cracked, the image fell

No crown survived the inner well

In nigredo, stripped of disguise

I met the hunger

in my eyes BECOME The darkness did not make me blind It

burned the false from what was mine

The pressure rises The old self bends LET IT DIE So truth

begins DISSOLVE

BLACK SUN

DEVOUR THE NAME

I keep the flame

RISE FROM THE

ASH

Black sun within

Burn through

the shape I lived within No light is whole that
