I was digging where the caverns grow,
Just me and the pickaxe’s steady glow.
Redstone dust and a hopeful mind,
Didn’t see what was creeping behind.
Then came that quiet,
awful sound, Like death itself was underground.
I turned too slow,
I should’ve known,
That green freak wasn’t leaving me alone.
Oh creeper, you blew me to hell and back,
Turned my whole damn base to cracked-up black.
One sudden flash and I’m airborne dust,
All my hard work turned to rust.
(ohhh) No warning sign,
no battle cry, Just a silent boom and a ruined sky.
Oh creeper, you absolute curse,
You made my whole damn run get worse.
I sprinted back through rage and smoke,
Cursing every block you broke.
Loot was gone, my armor too,
Nothing left but “what did I do?”
Next time I’ll light the caves like day,
No dark corners left to play.
Sword in hand and nerves on fire,
I’ll end your little explosive empire.
Oh creeper, yeah you got me good,
Blew up everything I thought I should.
But I’ll rebuild from ash and stone,
Make this world mine on my own. (hahaha)
And when I hear that hiss again,
You’ll be the one
who meets the end.
Oh creeper, better run and hide—
Next time I won’t be caught outside.
