Steps of Tomorrow

Once we started primary,

Everything was new.

Walking through the school gates,

Morning skies of blue.

Tiny hands together, Smiles on every face.

Taking our first little steps In a brand new place.

Once we were in nursery,

Learning through our play.

Making friends and laughing,

Every single day.

Singing songs together, Stories old and new.

Little by little, We were growing too.

Once we were in reception,

Everything felt bright.

Learning every letter, Trying with all our might.

Every song and story,

Every game we'd play.

Building happy memories Every single day.

Once we were in Year 1,

Growing more each day.

Reading, writing, learning In our own special way.

Finding new adventures, Watching dreams begin.

Every little challenge Helped us grow within.

Once we were in Year 2,

Confidence had grown. Every lesson teaching How much we had shown.

School trips, sports and laughter,

Learning something new.

Making stronger friendships As the whole year flew.

Once we were in Year 3,

Moving up at last.

New classrooms around us,

Growing up so fast.

Every day exciting, Every dream in sight.

Finding new beginnings Shining warm and bright.

Once we were in Year 4,

Time was flying by.

Working hard together, Always aiming high.

Helping one another, Standing side by side.

Every day together Filled our hearts with pride.

Once we were in Year 5,

Dreaming of Year

Learning new responsibilities, Building stronger friendships.

Thinking of tomorrow, Still enjoying today.

Making precious memories Every step of the way.

Now we are in Year 6,

Standing proud and tall.

Looking back together On the journey of it all.

Every laugh and lesson,

Every friend we've known.

Primary has helped us Become the people we've grown.

Though we're leaving primary,

One thing will stay true.

Every memory we've made We'll carry life through.

As another journey Slowly comes into view,
